The cover is the ST (standard) model from Mehler Vario
This model has been in use by the Bundeswehr for around 10 years and has served the Bundeswehr in all foreign missions.
The standard protective vest model followed immediately after the first "Bristol" vests.

Suit:

In terms of construction, the shirt is made from a rugged poly/cotton fabric. Snap domes line the full length of the storm flap which covers the zip for effective weatherproofing. Two snap dome chest pockets provide ample storage alongside a utility pocket on the sleeve. Being a military garment, this shirt features shoulder epaulettes and a hook and loop name strip. And hard-wearing robust trousers are very popular with construction workers, hunters, for gardening or simply as robust outdoor pants.
