These rubber tourniquets were originally created in 1908 and have been used since mostly by hospitals, paramedics and medics of primarily European forces. They are made of a flexible rubber construction which gives them their pink colour. The tourniquet, like other tourniquets is meant to be placed a few inches above a serious/arterial bleed and then tightly affixed.

Now although these are a inexpensive tourniquet, we only recommend them for LARP purposes, because you need to know how to use them and they can be broken in a stressful situation.. They make great stock wraps, cheek risers or parts of impression kits or collections.. However they do not make great tourniquets in an emergency.
