• The cover is designed to carry Granit, SAPI type armor plates and soft anti-fragmentation armor elements (aramid or UHMWPE).
• The cover consists of a front and back panel for placing armor plates and anti-ricochet packages, adjustable shoulder straps, as well as side waist straps with compartments for placing soft anti-fragmentation protection.
• The dimensions of the vest are selected in such a way that on the one hand it does not hinder the soldier's movements and provides the necessary ventilation, and on the other hand it provides protection for the most vital organs. This becomes especially important in conditions of high temperature and humidity.
• The front and back panels have 2 compartments each. The first is for placing an armor plate, the second for an aramid or UHMWPE package. The plate inside the main compartment is fixed with a vertical valve fastened with Velcro. The compartment itself is also fastened with Velcro. • There is a roomy organizer pocket on the front panel in the chest area. Elastic loops are sewn onto the back wall of the pocket for attaching various small items: a pistol magazine, a multi-tool, a folding knife or batteries. The pocket is fastened with Velcro.
• Molle cells are located on the outside of the pocket for attaching additional equipment. Velcro is sewn on top of the cells for placing patches and nametaps.
• Belt loops for attaching a PTT or a push-to-talk button from a radio station are sewn on the sides of the main compartment.
• A soft velcro part is sewn on the front at the bottom of the front panel for attaching removable modules. The standard package includes a module with 8 Molle cells in width, as well as an internal pocket for an insert for 3 magazines for an AK assault rifle.
• On the back there are: two evacuation loops, Molle cells for fixing a food bag, a cover for a hydraulic system or an assault backpack. The top three rows of cells are covered with Velcro for installing identification marks.
• The system for evacuating a wounded operator from the battlefield consists of two loops that duplicate each other. The first is a classic evacuation loop, which is located in the upper part of the back module of the body armor and is fixed with Velcro. The second is a tear-out loop, which provides greater convenience when evacuating a wounded person, and also allows it to be carried out in a lying position in order to minimize the silhouette of a soldier who pulls the victim out of the shelling zone.
• The cummerbunds are lined with Molle cells for placing ammunition, a first aid kit and other equipment. Anti-fragmentation bags are installed in the inner pockets.
• A new cummerbund adjustment system has been implemented, allowing the necessary volume adjustment without unraveling the elastic cord.
• The cummerbund consists of two parts, one of which is threaded into a special compartment on the front panel, creating a semi-corset, and the second is fixed to the front panel using contact tape. For ease of putting on and taking off the cover, two vertical handles are sewn on the front part - loops made of belt tape.
• For ease of putting on and taking off the bulletproof vest, the cummerbund fastening with Velcro can be replaced with a quick-release fastening.
• The shoulder straps are integrated into the back panel. To provide maximum protection against shrapnel, an aramid or UHMWPE package can be placed in the shoulder straps. The design of the shoulder straps also allows you to fix the shoulder protection on them. Due to the ergonomic shape, the spacing of the straps relative to each other, the anti-fragmentation packages, as well as the overall weight of the bulletproof vest, will not put pressure on the operator's shoulders.
• The straps have the ability to adjust the length using Velcro.
• For ease of putting on and taking off the bulletproof vest, quick-release fasteners, fastexes or a ZUBR buckle 38 mm wide can be installed on the shoulder straps. • On the inside of the front and back panels, as well as on the cummerbunds, there is a Velcro strip for attaching climatic shock-absorbing supports. KAPs are not included!
• At the bottom of the front and back panels, there are loops for attaching anti-fragmentation protection for the lower abdomen and groin area.
• The GROM PRO utility bag can be attached to the Velcro strip under the flap of the front panel of the cover.
